Hi there, I'm from Spain and some time ago I had to translate some software. If you want, I can have a look to try to get the Spanish translation as neuter as possible to avoid it sounding "too Mexican", "too Argentinian", "too Spanish", etc.

I've had a look at the link you attach and I hardly see any Spanish, just English and Portuguese... where's your translation?

Ok, I've read the intructions and tomorrow I'll start with it.

One important point: Are we going to use "usted" or "tú" when addressing the user. I'd rather use "tú" if we take into account that the usage of "usted" is disappearing in Spanish language (although in some Spanish speaking countries "usted" is favoured). All in all I think that "tú" acceptable for most computer users, while "usted" could be see as old fashioned for some part of those computer user.

What do you think?

Hola, acabo de leer tu mensaje de casualidad. Estoy con otro ordenador, así que no puedo poner lo que llevo hasta mañana. De todos modos estoy empezando por la parte de arriba. Si tu empiezas por la de abajo, nos acabaremos encontrando por el medio y después cada uno corrige la mitad del otro, ¿te parece?

This is the translation so far. I'm using Word to be able to highlight words I'm not sure about.

At first you'll find the macros (I put some colour there to quickly find the names).

In the translation, you'll find two colours:
- Yellow for words I need more context to understand if that's the right translation.
- Pink for words I already asked about here in the forum and I'm waiting for an answer.

I've been today 5 hours with this. I thought this would take way less. Tomorrow was my free day, but I'll try to find a few hours during the rest of the week.
