It seems there are a few people interested in contributing an Arabic translation.
We at OpenERP Arabic community (http://openerparabia.org/) use Nabble for our mailing lists/forums, and would like to have a full Arabic interface.

So, I've started a mercurial repository to collaborate on the Arabic translation. Everyone is welcome to help out. This way, multiple people can work on the translation without replication of efforts, and everything is in one place.
