after people Register

After people Register and confirm there registration (via email) it sends them to an administrater page (parent page).  We want them to be sent back to our sites home page...is this possible and how?

After registering, the user is sent back to the page he/she was when he/she clicked on the "Register" link. This is controlled by the nextUrl parameter in the URL.

Is there a way to put a register botton on my page on its own? I would like it to be on the home page to make it easy for people to register.

There's nothing to stop you designing your own button graphic (to suit the design of your site) and making that link to your registration page's permalink address. It could be placed anywhere on your site, including your home page.

You could even have a link on your site's main navigation menu that appears on every page. You can use a page's permalink anywhere you like.
