Last night I posted a few items in my forum no problem. This morning I went to post something and it's telling me "You have made too many posts in a short time"
However I hadn't posted in Many hours. Having a look I see that it should be around 5 minutes? But I've not been able to post since then.
Question I have is:
How many posts/threads can you create within what time limit?
After 5 minutes does that post limit reset?
Is there something broken or wrong I am doing in not being able to post even tho it's been more than a day since my last post?
Hi Lambo,
I have had exactly the same problem since mid-day yesterday and I am the ADMINISTRATOR of my forum.
My forum is http://sussex-forums.23692.n6.nabble.com/ Can someone in SUPPORT help please as I can not do anything on my forum.
With thanks.
To temporary get around this issue I've had to create a new user, log back in as administrator, give the user I just created admin privileges and then log into the new account just to post. It's annoying but that is currently working for me. However will still need to resolve my admin account not being able to be used.
If i have to set up a new account and reset that to admin then its a bit of a joke to be fair users of a forum if they have the same problem will maybe only have one e-mail account so how the hell are they supposed to re-register and even if they could why should they give yet more details AGAIN..
A spam filter is a great idea but not when it limits you to two post every 24 hours
Fair enough but have you read the problems people are having?
People haven't been able to post in their own forum for nearly 3 or 4 days now, that's hardly a feature, but a problem.
I've been able to only post, but setting up another account and giving it admin rights which is ok for now, but eventually I want to work out why my original account cannot post!
I'm having the same issue and it has been going on for 3 days. I've just been posting as an anonymous user, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the forum.
I hope this gets resolved.
Is anyone out there listening?
Great software, but I really need to get this fixed.
Thanks
