I have my forum embeded into a webpage (through weebly.com) and everytime I try to log on via my own website it returns back to the log on page. It is a never ending cycle. How can I fix this?
I suspect you are already logged in when you see the login page for the second time. What do you see on the upper right corner of the screen (Login/Register or your user name)?
Please let us also know which browser you are using and the link to your embedded forum.
Thanks for reporting this.
It is certainly recommended, but not required. The embedded forum works fine when third-party cookies are disabled, but it is faster otherwise (i.e., when 3rd-party cookies are enabled, there is less javascript code to be executed).
The display in the upper right shows that I'm logged in but when I complete the log-in form and click log-in I am returned to the log-in screen. If however, I click on the upper left link to the forum, the forum appears. The page does not use an iframe but a div where the forum is placed.
This seems to be related to the next URL that opens after the login. The next URL in this case is probably the login page, so this cycle happens. I will take a look. For now, use the upper left link to go to the forum.
