I have a member who registered yet has not received an email. He tried to register a second time just in case but his name came up as in use so it must have been OK. How long before the verification email is sent?
He has checked his spam.
We send the registration email immediately to the user. Some services (like mail.com) delay the delivery to the inbox, so the answer actually depends on the email service in use. Maybe you can ask him to register to this support forum just as a second test.
I cannot register with the Mono - OSX forum in the new Nabble because the confirmation email never arrives at "landrus2@by-rite.net". I have tried at least twice. I have checked all my mail folders--including the trash--for the email.
I am a subscriber to the underlying mailing list of that forum, and have posted to it--both by email and via the old Nabble interface. But the new Nabble considers me unregistered and I cannot register.
I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the domain name of my email address includes a hyphen ("-"). I have encountered software that mistakenly rejects such addresses as containing an invalid character before.
I was trying to set up a new nabble board and I can't get a registration email to show up so I can continue the process. Am I doing something wrong.
I'm a registered member of another nabble forum...but I was trying to set up my own and used the same user name and email but a different password. Is that the problem?
