Posting with scanned object within post.

I have been trying to post a message, which I have already typed up the message in a "Word" document, that has two images scanned into it already. The images are a "Treble clef" and a "Bass clef" placed within the document. I first "Copied" the finished document and then "Pasted" it into the "Comments" area. When I then view it everything is there except for the scanned objects.

What is going to be the proper way to do this? Am I going to first have to type up the document and then add the images with the "Upload image" option separately as a particular type of file? Then if this is the way, is there a way to move the images around on the page to put them in the proper position with the wording? I'm sure there is an easy way to do this but not knowing the proper way is a real "Stumper" for my limited brain...

If an image is not floated (to left or right) then as shown here  it can appear in the midst of a line of text.

Results of deprecated img attributes e.g.  align="middle" or  align="top" may vary, depending on the user's choice of browser (screen shots below from Safari 4.0.5). For greater accuracy, you could compose the message in HTML format.





<http://w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp> suggests use of styles for alignment. I never tried this within a post in Nabble, I can't guess what the results would be. <http://w3schools.com/tags/att_standard_style.asp> could be a good starting point.

You should save the images to your computer and then use the "Insert Image" button when you compose the message. After uploading the image, Nabble will automatically add a tag to the message, more or less like this:

<nabble_img src="name.gif" border="0"/>

You can place this tag anywhere in the message to position the image.
