How can I have my signature only appear in some posts?

I would only like my signature to show in occasional posts, not everything. For example, My signature is irrelevant in this forum.

How can I do this?

 Is it possible to add this functionality under more options? Thanks!

Currently, you can only do this by removing your signature from the "My Personal Settings" section then manually adding your signature to each post on which you want it to appear.

Hmmm... then you will be able to ask 'us' for help and 'sell' the advice to other people without alerting us as to what you are doing... I think not!

And I'm not sure that promoting your 'other' activities on this forum is acceptable either!

I am sorry for whatever has happened in your life, to cause so much distrust of people, and foster such a willingness on your part to display such a nasty, rude, attitude to a complete stranger. This is quite shocking to me. I have participated in forums for several years, and never encountered such a rude response to a genuine question. I am sorry I expressed any admiration for your work.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean in your response about selling advice to other people.

 I designed my signature to be used in my forum for AVON. I am trying to get other reps to establish forums for their customers. After many queries, I decided to put my price in my signature. I provide direct links to the Nabble Help forum in my help section of my forums 

I am not trying to promote any activities in this forum. 

When I realized my signature was appearing at the bottom of each of my answers,I saw how spammy it looked, so  I asked about a device similar to the one used in Smart canucks to choose when to have your signature appear and when not to have it appear.

If someone wanted to do as you suggest- ask for help as a subterfuge and resell the advice- (which when you think of it is what doctors, teachers and others do with their education)- they could just visit the forum without using a signature.
