I'm wondering if there is a way to treat "returns" as line breaks, when the HTML box is checked?
I can get people to check off the HTML box when embedding video, but because they don't understand how to use <br/> they uncheck the box and don't end up embedding. ...and then they ask ME to do it. ![]() No rush on this.

With all of my requests at this point - unless specifically stated - at this point they can wait until after the pending launch of NAML.
I am just putting the out there so I don't forget them.

I am not sure I understand why this is a problem because people can easily embed videos in plain text messages. So there is no need to click on the HTML format checkbox. All people need to remember is to use the nabble_embed tags like this:
<nabble_embed>...</nabble_embed> Have you tried explaining this to those users? |

Well I tried a random video off YouTube and it worked.
I'll continue to try with videos I need to post and if I find one I'll post in the thread. If they seem to be working I'd ask for a separate button entitled "Video" that only has the video embed tags in it, because most people don't know what Htags are, and it confuses the issue IMO. Thx. ![]()

Harvey,
I'm never going to be able to find your interesting NAML ideas in months to come if we don't have a special area and there's no <override_macro namein the post to search for! <Sob!> ![]() Just a hint about where to drill down to in the code would help. ![]()

Greg not sure what you mean? One thing is for sure - don't look to me for naml insight. I'm just barely getting by. (via mobile) On Oct 28, 2011 7:15 AM, "GregChapman [via Nabble Support]" <[hidden email]> wrote:

Harvey - Sorry there were a few words missing. Here's the thought re-phrased and expanded...
I'm never going to be able to find your interesting NAML ideas in months to come while we don't have a dedicated NAML area into which to post them. When there's no code fragment to act as a search term it will be difficult to find such posts, especially if there is subject drift within the topic. Perhaps we need a convention within the forum, e.g. add "NAML:" as a subject line prefix?

All I really did was eliminate the subheader part under "Tips" and change the word tips to "Video."
I don't even know what a regex is.

This was very odd. I could make the embed tags work as long as I included NO TEXT in the post.
