unable to create new native thread

When attempting to delete two subcategories in our forum, we receive an "unable to create new native thread" error and the subcategory is not deleted.  Any thoughts how to resolve this?

Apologies, I got this issue mixed up with another one I had logged last evening.  I found a work around for this issue.  The two sub-forums in question had 3000+ posts, almost all from the same system user.  I deleted the posts for that user, which then allowed me to delete the forums.  Thanks.
