topic options

I'm still me, do not beat me, please .... Can you explain to me what is the difference between "pin topic" and "lock topic". Maybe it's written in the guide, but as you know, I find it hard to understand the language.  Ciao again

Yo silvana,

Pinned topic: An "important" topic, pinned topics will be shown at the top of the forum where it's placed(in the list of topics, will be the first), for example, in the free support forum: http://support.nabble.com/Free-Support-f1.html those two topics "Help with Free Support and get access to Premium Support" and "Free vs. Paid Support" are pinned topics, they'll stay at the top of the forum until someone unpin it.

Locked topic: No one will be able to answer in this topic.

I forgot .... but a topic can be pinned and also lock?

Pin topic = Topics that you and the site consider important.
- rules for the forum
- guides
- support
etc....

Lock topic = Topics that you dont want to delite but dont want someone to be able to write there.
- Topics that do not follow the rules
- Topics that do not follow the main subject, that's go ''off topic''
- Topics that has been solved.
