I've had the same problem on a Nabble site that I ran on Amazon servers.  Everything ran perfectly but we couldn't log on with much of anything but Firefox.  Some iOS devices could get on with Safari, but it wasn't consistent.  But everyone could get on with Firefox.

In the end, after many hundreds of dollars of effort I finally gave up.
