Member Can't Email Nor Get Email Notifications

I have a member that cannot send email through the forum.  Or, maybe I should say he can but it doesn't get to the other member and instead comes back to him as undeliverable.  In addition if he ticks the box to be notified via email that someone has posted in a thread he never gets any notification.

He's using Yahoo email.  Is there a known problem with it?  Are there any suggestions of how to resolve this?  I have asked him if you could use another email address.
