You do not tell us if you have received the email asking you to confirm your registration.

Have you received it?
Have you clicked the link within it?

It's probably also worth pointing out that they are not "GnuCash Forums" but Nabble hosted archives of GnuCash's mail lists. If you are planning to post to those lists via the archive then further steps need to be taken.
