I have no plans for regular advertising on Blasma.  What I learned from Nabble is that advertising doesn't make much money unless one is really big.  And if one is big, it is worth doing custom advertising like sponsored threads, something like what Facebook does.  So that is what we will do, no ads when small and then sponsored threads if we get big.

Just so you know, right now I am not even working on Blasma yet.  I need to spend a few weeks to make Nabble really stable so that it will just work.  Part of this is upgrading Postgres to simplify backups.
