How is Nabble funded?

There seem to be a few postings saying people can't create a forum.

There are no ads on nabble forums, they were removed recently, so that source of income has been removed,which also results in no income from sites wanting ads removed.

This follows on from server problems in the middle of 2016 which went on for weeks.

So is the future for Nabble and it's users secure?
