Hi,

Yesterday, someone new had posted, and this morning I went to reply to her post.  After I was done typing my reply, I clicked to Preview and the next page told me that 'Node was not found'.
That sounds as if you had left the page sitting there in your browser, so you were unaware that the original post had been deleted until after you had composed your repair and re-connected with the server.
I clicked back in my browser, pasted my reply again and clicked to post....same error message 'Node was not found'.  Unfortunately, I didn't copy her long post (why would I have anyway?), so there's no way for me to get it back unless it's on your server.
That sounds as if the original poster had deleted their post, so it won't be on the server.
So I am thinking the person deleted her post (will never understand why), so I did a test post this morning and even replied to the test post.  It appears just fine on the page.  Then went to delete the post, and it's still there with the world to see "- deleted - ".
A " CONTENTS DELETED The author has deleted this message." notice is normal where the original post now has a dependency on it - the reply post. However, if any post has no dependency on it then there's no need for Nabble to store the now-empty node and there will be no trace of it.
So something is not right because if the original poster had deleted her post, it would show as - deleted - , but there is nothing there, yet my test post remains on the site, even after deleting it!
Unfortunately, it does sound as if everything is as expected.
