Hi Greg

Thanks for the comments. Who is pedro? Does he work for Nabble?

I was under the impression one could back up the archive and export it. Its a great pity to loose seven years blogging.

Best wishes Richard

Hi Richard,

I believe that Nabble's backup file format changed a while back but the documentation left unchanged.

As I understand it the backup file is only designed to be re-imported into Nabble should a forum have been deleted accidentally. Pedro should be along shortly to confirm this.

I don't believe there is any easy - if way at all - to provide a suitable file that can be used to import a Nabble blog into another service provider.

I still don't listen to "The Naked Englishmen" and was taken pleasantly by surprise to find my podcatcher recently picked up three files for "The Vobes Show" - Miss them sorely!
From your mate, the Tea Towel Ironer (in joke" for Richard!)
Just a Volunteer Nabble Helper - because the nice folk at Nabble have helped me!
