That is certainly possible.

Some ISPs have viscous spam filters. Frequently, Nabble subscriptions to btinternet.com addresses end up in customer's Spam boxes unless they whitelist nabble.com.

However, I have not heard of any Nabble forum being blocked up till now. It could be worth checking with Sky.
