Hi Greg,

Can a person who is not an administrator see all the registered users? This list of course includes people who were not approved to go into the Members list.

That depends what you mean by "see" and what you mean by "members".

Only those in the "Administrators" group will be able to see a user's email address on the User Profile screen.

Some think of those is the "Registered" group as "Members", but that term is used by Nabble as an additional class of user, on top of "Anyone", "Administrator" and "Registered", which you can opt to use, and, of course you can add your own groups to the default set provided by Nabble.

There is a permission "Show_group_members" through which you can add or remove various groups made visible on the "People" link on each forum and sub-forum. That reveals to users which usernames are in which groups - providing you have not removed that permission.

I always recommend that administrators set up a second user account which they can then use to test  the facilities available to those in the various user group used or added to a forum, because with come combinations of permissions and various levels of sub-forum things can get quite complicated.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!
