Hello,

I am the owner of a mailing list freeplane-developer <freeplane-developer@lists.sourceforge.net> and I want to replace it with Nabble's email subscription to http://freeplane-developer.996969.n3.nabble.com/ . Nabble help page http://n3.nabble.com/help/Answer.jtp?id=46  recommends me to follow steps which I do not understand:

"1. Set the old mailing list to no-delivery for all members, except the nabble archive email address (e.g., lists+xxxx@nabble.com), so that the archiving can continue if people continue to post to the mailing list address (e.g., xxx@googlegroups.com)."

What is the meaning of xxxx in text  lists+xxxx@nabble.com?

"2. Subscribe all existing members to Nabble. You can do this by clicking on Options > Users > Forum subscribers and then on "Add Subscribers"."

There are neither item "Forum subscribers " nor "Add Subscribers" available. There are items "Manage subscribers" and "Invite subscribers", however the last tells me it is curently not available, so I do not now whether I can add existing subscribers to the list once the module is activated.

3. The last step is to hide the mailing list archive from users. You can find this option in the Options > Application > Mailing list archive settings screen. When you finish this option, your forum will look like a normal forum. Basically, users won't see a prompt that asks them to subscribe to the mailing list when they post a message. But the mailing list is not disabled at all and posts will be silently forwarded to the mailing list. When you feel that the mailing list is no longer needed, you can remove it completely in the "Mailing list archive settings" screen.

Can I import the old posted mails this way?
What is the meaning of hiding the mailing list?
What mailing list is mentioned?

"If you still have questions, visit Nabble Help or the Nabble Support forum."

Oh, yes. Please, help me.

Kind regards,
Dimitry Polivaev
