The evidence does not support that, as you are clearly receiving messages in this topic and another in "Free Support" and maybe others that you have not responded to.
Can you confirm that have visited both "Nabble Support" and its sub-forum "Free Support" and checked the "Options" menu on each and and that the first option on both menu says "Subscribe by email".

I am not subscribed to New user questions

There is no forum or sub-forum called "New User Questions". I have found a topic with that name, but it was last posted to in December 2011 so is highly unlikely to be relevant to this issue.

However I keep on receiving e-mails.

That suggests you are subscribed to "Free Support" as both these are topics within that sub-forum.

So what do I need to change to stop this happening?

Check the footer of each message you receive. It contains at least three statements:

• If you reply to this email, your message will be added to the discussion below: [URL]
• To start a new topic under [forum name], [email address]
• To unsubscribe from [forum name], visit [URL]

Those should help you! (Should have remembered to get you to check that at the beginning!)
