As administrator you can remove that status for them at any time - but that assumes they don't remove your status as administrator first!

If you're not 100% certain of them, you should create an additional "Moderators" group and assign them to that. You can then can give them only the permissions you are happy for them to have.

3. Has any one used the “BACKUP” in >Options >Download Backup...
    Is it safe to use?

I can't believe Nabble would provide something they didn't think was safe to use, but I haven't any experience to base a reply on.
