Apologies! Maybe I panicked unnecessarily.

I thought I had seen three registrations. It turns out it's only two, both on n3.nabble.com.

He registered on the first, a sailing forum, on 16 May. Most people use variations on their own or their boat's name there, so this username was unusual and it stuck in my mind. The second time is on a email software support forum on 19 May, where he could now post, but hasn't so far.
