We seem to have misunderstood each other.

I'm looking for three CLASSIC posts at the top and then go to threaded after that.

Also there seem to now be issues with permalinks not linking to the proper spot. Not in all cases but in some cases the permalink you get for the top post is leading me to the second or third post.
