I think I understand. If only Members can post, then any Member who has actually POSTED is in the Author group, and can make changes on his/her post only?  Thanks Hugo.

Do I still have to be both the author AND admin to change dates of posts? If so, this is somewhat problematic in our newspaper.

EDIT: I would rather not allow authors to edit name or description of applications.  Anyone else agree?
