read messages appear unread

In threaded view of e.g. <http://nabble-support.1.n2.nabble.com/Users-Groups-and-Permissions-tt5568913.html#a5569688> I click to expand and read earlier posts.

When I close the posts, they appear unread (bold).

Using Safari 5.0.2 in Mac OS X 10.6.x.
