Graham is right. Besides that, the main problem of this feature from Nabble's point of view is that spammers could easily abuse it. I mean, they can add a lot of members and then use this feature to send their junk emails.

But soon Nabble will be very flexible and almost everything will be possible. The templates feature (to be released in some months) will certainly add this possibility, but forum owners will have to provide their own SMTP server to send such emails. So Nabble will be protected from bad users.
