Thanks for comments Graham.
I still cant fault scribd ipage, and I still keep all my docs etc in original format ( I just make a copy on my computer then upload the copy to scribd ).
I think it's brill for displaying PDF's on any website ( with the embed code supplied with every Document )
You can also sell on scribd and keep 80% of content price ( only available to buyers and sellers in the USA at the moment as scrib store still in beta )
I plan to make my two books available as ebook downloads ( cutting out the middlemen ), and put them on scribd with my Paypal account, and as scribd has tens of millions of visitors a month. I still think scribd ipage is another way forward.
One great use I found for scribd is keeping the family informed about events. ( My Son and his partner are prgnant. They had first baby scan with photo. I uploaded photo to scribd after converting a copy to PDF, instantly available on scibd, and relitives in Australia can interact with scan to enlarge it to any size/Download it/use embed code to put on their site/print/zoom in/zoom out/see full page, and lots of other stuff.
I value your comments ( I follow you on Nabble support forums all the time ), and would like to hear in detail, what may be the dis-advantages of scribd ipage technology.
( I still think it's a great way to put a bit of life into a nabble site, much better than You-tube )
All the best to you Graham
