Posting anonymously, then logging in.

I have a forum that is related to a specific company where some people post news that they'd rather not have associated with their account. These uses also have real accounts in the system.
If a users logs out, make an anonymous post, then logs back in, nabble is 'smart' enough to associate the posted-as-anonymous posts with the now-logged-in user, which is exactly the opposite of what was intended. Now others, like bosses and supervisors, know who posted what.
I can't find a way to "log out" the anonymous user to break that session magic.
Does deleting the nabble cookie work? Is there another way around this? A forum option to turn this off completely?
Thanks!
