forced redirection fails to lead to anchor point

in Firefox 3.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.5.5 redirects to
<http://plone.org/support/forums/core#nabble-td349110|a1518131>, which is fine;

in Safari 3.2 (5525.26.12) on the same OS redirects to
<http://plone.org/support/forums/core#nabble-td349110%7Ca1518131>, which is:

* the correct thread
* the wrong anchor.

A bug in WebKit? What do we think?

(This is familiar, I recall reporting the issue long ago. If not here, maybe in a Trac at Plone. If I find a duplicate thread here I'll merge the two.)
