something's seriously wrong... (nabble link forwarding to russian webpage)

Hi,

i have embedded a nabble forum on my webpage. It's an open source support forum. A week ago it still worked fine, now i discover that the embed-code is forwarding to a russian website.

this is the code i use in my html:
hamsterdb

And this is what the browser receives when clicking the link:

(i'm going to fix the code now so don't be surprised if hamsterdb.com/index/forum is actually working)

I have noticed that my website stats are showing up Russian visitors which I haven't had before, and would not expect to see... but I am greatful for the traffic... LOL

Maybe you should migrate it to the new Nabble. Please let me know if you want to do this.

Hi Hugo,

but why should the nabble embed code, that i copy/pasted and have not changed since i integrated nabble a few years ago, suddenly forward visitors to a russian page? To me that looks like something is messed up in your database.

Anyway - yes, i've thought about migrating to the new forum. Please be so kind and migrate my forum.

will the old link (http://old.nabble.com/hamsterdb-support-f34701.html) still work?

Hi Christoph, I've migrated your forum to the new system:
http://hamsterdb-support.1045726.n5.nabble.com/

You will have to register again to that forum. A few things you can do with your forum now:
    (1) set a new domain name, eg. forum.hamsterdb.com (go to Options > Editor > Change domain name)
    (2) embed the forum onto the http://hamsterdb.com/ website (Options > Embedding options).

I forgot to mention that the old link will still work for more or less 4 months. This is enough time for you and everyone else (including google) to update links and websites.
