I recently posted this to the ffmpeg-user forum but thought it belonged here more.
I just noticed that some posts I made using the nabble site to the ffmpeg-users group were truncated and garbled when viewed on the listware dot net site.... to the point that the command lines are rendered incorrect. It starts happening about half way through the thread.
The conversation was titled: stitching together videos with Libavfilter
