old Nabble denial of service caused by a single forum reply.

xranby
One email that i sent to the jamvm nabble forum have triggered an endless loop in nabble, the reply keeps generating multiple duplicates automatically, a single email reply have generated more than 20000+ replies to the thread and counting.

I tried to delete the thread that i originally started in order to save this nabble server from an imminent denial of service if this bug kept duplicating propagating further but un-fortunaly the delete thread request caused the jetty server that handle the deletes to run out of memory and now nabble is unable to issue any delete requests whats so ever.

I hope the root cause can be fixed so that this may be prevented in the future.
Cheers

Hi Xerxes, I was aware of that. I had to set your account with a special flag to prevent the system from archiving new emails from you. Sorry for that, but it was the first step to stop the endless loop. I will try to delete that topic soon. At least the thread is not growing anymore.
