I get an "error 500" when I try to get on the micromem forum.  Can you help?

Re: no access to Micromem forum

Mulebarn-- this is a workaround to access the forum:

Type www.micromem-forum.com into your browser.  This address will redirect you into our NABBLE forum.
You may have to enter your email address and password too.

Why this works?  I have no idea.  There are a couple of other quirks that seem to be affecting NABBLE today... I am sure they will fix them soon.

Get an OOPS error when clicking on "my favorites" link for the Micromem forum.

Re: no access

Below is the address used for the Micromem forum since it was created last September. Late Friday night/early Saturday morning (eastern time), access to the forum stopped working with the "Oops 500 Error".

http://n2.nabble.com/Micromem-f3594288.html

I will have to send emails to all of the members of the forum to inform them to start using the link you provided..

Thanks

Mulebarn--

The address to get to the private forum has been changed by NABBLE2.  The one that everyone should use is

http://micromem.3594288.n2.nabble.com/

Please change your browser setting.

Notes: NABBLE2 is making a transition and this address was provided by NABBLE administration.

I will change the www.micromem-forum.com address to redirect to the new address (hopefully) on Sunday, 08AUG10.

You can use the domain name feature (Options > Editor > Change domain name). Then all URLs will start with "http://www.micromem-forum.com/...".

Re: no access

JBWolverine
Thanks, Hugo, for the information.

When I accessed the GoDaddy site where I have the "www.micromem-forum.com" site registered, I found out that I already had the new address value of the Micromem Technologies Private Forum on NABBLE2 inserted for re-direction.

That was a surprise to me, but I think that re-direction value was just set up about two months ago. (??)

As for contacting the 120+ members, I sent out emails with the new address information to everyone today. Hopefully there will not be additional posts to the NABBLE SUPPORT forum due this access problem.

Thanks again for all of your timely support. I has been a pleasure having our forum on this facility.
