new permissions

Cooma_Gardens
I tried to set up the new permissions and I cant get them to work the way I thought it should be working.  I have a forum with 4 subgroups.  I wanted 3 of these subgroups to be visible/pos-able to only the members and the other subgroup visible to everyone.  I tried to set the permissions like this but the 3 subgroups are invisible to everyone including the members.  What am I doing wrong?

I'm having similar issues. I only have one subgroup/subforum/subcategory (I see at least 3 different names for the same thing). It's a very simple permissions setup, where I only want the subforum to appear to Members. It seems, though, that it it will remain invisible to EVERYONE (including me, the administrator) unless I choose to make it viewable by "anyone".

I haven't been able to solve the problem and nabble support appears to be a dead end unless you want to pay for it. Seems like they don't want people using there forums.

I looked at your forum Brian as a unregistered person and I can only see 2 topics (although it states there are 3) under one forum.

Thanks, both are what I expected: that Nabble is a bit of a dead end and that as an unregistered person you can see two topics. Of course, I don't understand the statement that there are 3 topics or why the forum looks no different to me, the Administrator, than it does to the public.

I'm giving up on Nabble soon. It hasn't been worth the trouble so far.
