ftp access

I am migrating one of my nabble forums to a new forum software and the migration consultant said that we need FTP access to pull our images out of our nabble forum.  Can you please let me know how I can gain access to download my images and other attachments?

It sounds as if your migration consultant is unaware that you do not host your forum yourself. Nabble does not offer FTP access to their servers.

Depending on the size of your forum and assuming that you have no private areas that require logging in to view, the best approach will probably be to use an "off-line browser" or "web site copier" software.

I have not used such programs but understand there are normally options to download only certain file types such as .HTML, JPG, or PDF files. Essentially these programme are similar to the spiders that search engines use. They crawl a site from the initial URL given and follow every link, downloading all specified file types. There are normally options to set how deep in the folder structure the spider will go too.
