forum-user signature, link not clickable

augidog
in my forum sig, i have a link to my personal site, and it displays correctly as clickable.

my users can't seem to get an active link in their sigs...am i missing something in permissions?

thanks in advance.

Most likely your users are not entering valid HTML link code or they are failing to check the "Signature is in HTML format" box.

It's not a permissions thing.

this fella here: http://motor-assisted-bicycling.1062526.n5.nabble.com/template/NamlServlet.jtp?macro=user_nodes&user=257323 has tried everything & simply cannot get an active link in his sig.

while  this guy:  http://motor-assisted-bicycling.1062526.n5.nabble.com/template/NamlServlet.jtp?macro=user_nodes&user=267085 recently joined & had no problem at all.

is there any way someone can compare and point out the differences?? i'm lost.

The best I can suggest is that you get him to post something like this:

signature page
and check that he really has checked the "Signature is in HTML format" box and that all his HTML tags, attributes and styling are accurately typed and properly opened and closed.

As you know, a missing quote or other punctuation symbol can make all the difference.
