Go to OPTIONS > APPLICATION > CHANGE APPEARANCE

You'll find a setting:

Number of Topics
Per page: (between 1 and 100)

The default is 35.

Note that you cannot fix the length of the page absolutely. It will always expand to allow all posts, up to that number to display. Nabble also includes some code that will automatically reduce full quotes, though allowing them to be expanded - another reason why an absolute length cannot be fixed.

Greg... This might help with my page length issue...

I found this choice when I selected Options in the outer-most Nabble layer.
I have selected 10 pages.

But I can't find this coding!

Oh... maybe I have to have selected a specific type of application???

I don't think it's the application. It's more a case of the type of user you have.

If you have members who are subscribers and they leave the entire original post in place you'll see the effect. Here are examples:

The forum was originally a Yahoo-based Mail List set to strip out attachments. The majority of posters still use their email program to post to the forum.

There are many more on that forum, probably better examples, with huge amounts of quoted text included in their replies. How it happens also depends on the type of mail program they use and the settings they have in place (e.g. are they set to use plain text or HTML, do they top-post, etc.)
