forum descriptions show CONTENTS DELETED

LordOfBikes
This post was updated on .
Hi,

I'm the LibreCAD forum administrator and I just recognized, that all our forum/sub-forum descriptions show this:
CONTENTS DELETED
The author has deleted this message.
at https://forum.librecad.org/.

When I go to Options -> Application -> Edit name & description the content for the description is still there.
Changing or saving the description or reloading the page does not change anything.
I checked the account of the retired owner who started the forum, it is still there.

I can't say when this started. But I'm pretty sure, that we have not change anything that may have caused this.

I just have to correct myself. I posted this after checking the first few sub forums.
After iterating through all of them, I found out, that only few of  them were affected:

https://forum.librecad.org/LibreCAD-dev-f4361976.html
https://forum.librecad.org/LibreCAD-user-f4499514.html

All the other sub forums are okay.

Re: forum descriptions show CONTENTS DELETED

I probably found the cause for this behaviour.

Our forum was created by R. van Twisk. He retired 2017/18 and transferred responsibility to me.
When he contributed sporadically over the years, I recognised now, that all his posts are deleted.
So I assume he wrote the descriptions for the applications in question and when he deleted his posts, the descriptions vanished too. I suspect that other sub forums were created by other members and thus not deleted.

Can a transfer of ownership solve this issue?
Is transferring ownership possible anyway?
Can the ownership of the descriptions be transferred to me?

Regards,

Armin
