email problems when registering

my mates email adress wont fit into the registration email section i cant put the last bit in which is 2 letters why have u limited the amount of text u can put in the email bar.My mates email is longer than others but i cant understand why uve only allowed a certain amount of text to be put in the email section of the registration bit can anyone help me please.
