i need to duplicate some sub forums or like have it somehow showing up at 'site 1 ' and also at 'site 2'

I am not sure I understand your question. Note that you can embed the same forum in several sites at the same time. So maybe this solves your problem. If not, please explain it with more details.

ok i have a category in a forum , i want this category on 2 forums at once.

A category can't have two parents. So maybe you should create a similar category on the other place, but it won't have any relationship with the first one.

What do you mean by "Copy"? The basic attributes of a sub-forum is the name and description. These you can copy manually. What else do you want to copy?
