Kara, I'm not sure if I could understand you right. That's what I could understand:
You used to get notified by e-mail when someone deletes something on your forum and now the e-mail notifications are not sent anymore. You would like them to continue.

Is that right?

once so much time goes by + forum is inactive, Nabble used to email giving me notice to come online to forum + choose save or delete, etc. sorry i didn`t say this before.

If your forum becomes inactive, it will certainly be scheduled for deletion and you will be notified by email.

also just like your comment, i used to get an email telling me i had a responce to my question in Nabble support. do you no longer do this. i did not receive notice of your comment. i checked the box below to alert me by email when someone posts to this thread.

When you post a message, there is a checkbox under the text area that says "Alert me by email when someone posts to this thread". Please make sure that box is checked when you post a message on this forum. Another option is to open the topic and click on "Options > Subscribe via email". Both controls do the same thing: they subscribe your email to new messages under that topic.

Most of us use Gmail (from Google) as our personal mail provider and we are not having any issues receiving e-mails from Nabble if that's what you are asking.

i finally caught my mistake thru my email service. i was not receiving email due to mispelled name when i had updated it.

a suggestion would be:
if you email your notice to our designated email + it doesn't get to our email, then perhaps you get returned notice of failure?? so just making sure yours is working. for when i send an email + it doesn't get thru it usually tells me undelivered. just in case this may be important to you.
