Why isn't my forum showing my name/avatar?

I put a chat forum on my blog, but when I return to it, it doesn't let me post as myself and asks for my name.  Do I have to log-in to my own forum somewhere?  If so, where?

Do you see "login" and "register" links on the upper right corner of your forum? If yes, then you should login. You can post a link to your forum and I will take a closer look.
