Why CommandArgument in ASP.net

Hello All,

I am new to ASP.net. I know Visual Basic.
Recently I learnt that there is an property CommandName and CommandArgument of Command Button in ASP.net. I would like to know what the utility of these with combination of 'OnCommand'. As same work we can do with 'OnClick', where OnCommand is useful?
