There appears to be a slight misunderstanding of the technology involved here. A different JavaScript code will have no impact on this problem. The JavaScript simply inserts the Nabble forum into another web page. It does nothing to control how the forum itself is then rendered. That is controlled by the HTML and CSS code that Nabble serves as it sends the forum page to the browser and how the browser responds to that code.

When rendering a web page (more technically, the HTML and CSS code that defines the page) all phone and many tablet browsers respond as a "mobile" device. For this to be effective, the web page needs to be written to allow for this. Nabble does not! It assumes all browsers are of the default "desktop" type.

The best Nabble has is a "Narrow" option (Options > Application > Change appearance > Preferences > Page layout) which isn't very effective as it's only really assists those forums whose users are expected to have ancient desktop computers with small screens.

Currently, I can only suggest that you to encourage your users to use the "Version Mobile | Web" link at the bottom of the page to switch to the "Web" version. This will deliver the standard "desktop" version of the Weebly page to the phone but will require your visitor to do a lot of zooming and scrolling.

As a further aside, it may be worth mentioning that most tablets (and some phones with larger screens) have an option built into them which you can set to force its browser to report itself as a desktop device, which will always render the page in the familiar desktop version.

Thanks Greg

Will Tapatalk be an option one day for  the Nabble forum?
