User Permission Names are far too long

I have mentioned this before but it wasn't so annoying with a large forum width. However I am setting up another forum embedded into another website but in a much smaller space.

It is not practical to have to keep scrolling down to the end of the forum page to scroll right and then scroll up again, to see the names of all of the groups. I end up counting down to recognise which one I am changing... Very scarey!  

If it were possible to allow the names Authenicated and Administrators to be shortened to, say, Auth and Admin, this would save a great deal of space thereby allowing other groups to be seen.

I can't see scrolls on your site. I mean, no scrolls related to the forum. Where are they?

Permissions horizontal scrollbar is at the very bottom of the permissions table, so you have to scroll vertically...

Hi Anne,

I agree that it can be awkward to have to use the  horizontal scrollbar on the permissions screen if your forum is embedded in a page of restricted width - especially when you have added further groups to the standard set.

However, I've come to the view that as it's a screen that one only uses on initial set up of a forum, (before setting a "Redirect" option) and for just a few minutes when adding an additional sub-forum once the forum is running (after redirection is in place), I am prepared to remove the "Redirect" for those few minutes and change permissions in full-width non-embedded window.
