Tag words on a post for better search engine optimization

rumandraisin
Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to tag words in a Nabble blog for better Search Engine Optimization?

Also, can anyone give me an example of a website that has embedded a nabble blog please?

Tagging individual words for SEO purposes isn't quite how it works!

Search engines analyse a page based on the contents of its main structural elements, such as <title> and the description metatag, along with contents of the primary heading tags. You'll need to take a close look at the underlying HTML code for a page to decide how best to improve search engine rankings. Have you seen the option at:
Options > Application > Change title and meta tags

Not directly relevant to your query but, depending on your userbase, may be useful to you are the facilities at:
Options > Application > Extras & Add-ons > Social

Here are some of my embedded applications:

http://www.rustonreaches.plus.com/blog.html
http://npopuk.org.uk/3.02/forum.html
http://www.threeriversrace.org.uk/index.php5?title=Forum
http://www.gregafloat.plus.com/blog/index.html

None of these are what Nabble calls a blog, rather they are a combination of applications including "Mixed", "Forum", "Gallery", "News", etc. To get a feel for what is possible it is best to create a forum and then play with all the customisation possibilities.

Thank you Greg,

I REALLY appreciate your feedback.

I am busy implementing a site with Adobe Muse, and Im embedding the Nabbler blog in the "Blog page" and my client wants to see examples of other sites.

I know that you need to put the tags on your site pages to optimise SEO, but my client specifically asked about the blog, so I wasnt sure. (Learn something new every day)

I will try and find ways to improve the SEO on her site.

Enjoy your day!

Hi Greg,

Me again,

what did you use for this site:

http://www.gregafloat.plus.com/blog/index.html

Is that a Nabbler blog, or a Forum or what?

Thanks!

It's a "News" application and under:

Options > Application > Change Appearance > Preferences

Page Layout = Narrow

It's that setting that removes the default side bar.
