Sub forums on main page

Ktque
I can't seem to figure out how to get the sub forums to view as a straight forward list (no author reference) and with a tag line, as it is on nyskiblog.com.

i'd also like to remove the title bar  reference to topics (which have been disabled on the front page) and replies showing up immediately beneath the forum heading.

All help appreciated!

Thanks,
Kate

Try: Options > Application > Change Application Type > Board

Thanks Greg, that's definitely solved a big part of the problem

Do you know a way to put a sub heading beneath the sub forum heading on the front page?

Also, the board format is showing the following threads. Is there a way to stop this, or limit the number to 3 or so,  so only the sub forum title shows on the front page?

Thanks in advance,

K

Please, try Options -> Application -> Change application Type -> Category , see if it fits better for the appearance you want.
My test forum.

Check that the sub forums are also set to Category or Board. If you just change the top level to one of those the existing sub-forums won't change their application type.

Also check out the "Mixed" format. Any of these, in combination, at different levels could produce what you hope to achieve.

Further refinements require that you edit the NAML code behind the various designs.
