Hi All,
Does anyone know anything about this "The webpage cannot be found etc" in the photo below, that appears overlapping the top line and some following lines in the second post in all threads on my forum? When I use the back button the first thing that happens is that the problem disappears but leaves a blank space. Then using the back button again does take me back properly. |
Can you provide a URL?

Hi Greg,
Thanks for this.
Yes I am the administrator http://www.holyportresidentsassociation.org/forum.html
I have spoken with someone who has viewed the site and they
say that the problem did not appear on their PC.
So maybe it is peculiar to my PC?

Hi Andrew,
Having found the affected post and looking again at your image, it would appear to be that the connection to the second advert that you should expect to see immediately above Steve's post failed. This is likely to be a one-off situation. Normally different adverts will appear each time you access the page and a failed connection to an advertiser's server is rare.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for your response. Every time I look at the forum, this is present on the second post of all threads. Regards, Andrew |
I've looked at the page in three different browsers and all show adverts correctly under the first post although, as expected, all show different adverts, especially so in Firefox. There the advert supplier seems to be completely different and the nature of the adverts served far more graphical than in Chrome or Internet Explorer.
It might be related to advert blocking software you have in place in your browser but, I confess, this one is beyond me and I must wait for suggestions from one of the Nabble team. For the moment I can only say, console yourself with the thought that it may only be you that is affected and that others are seeing things as one would expect.
